Individuals who are self-employed or don’t work for an employer registered with RetirePath Virginia can open an account today.
Most savers will participate in RetirePath Virginia through their employer. After an employer registers, employees have 30 days to opt out or adjust their account. If an employee takes no action, they enroll automatically with the default savings and investment selections. Employees can opt out or make changes at any time.
